As part of the International Watercolour Exhibition 2024 to be held at Central Park – 152-158 St Georges Terrace, Perth, WatercoloursWA is pleased to announce our Master Artist for this event is John Lovett.
John Lovett is an Australian artist working in oils, watercolor and mixed media. Since commencing his career John has held over thirty five solo exhibitions and taken part in many joint ones. John’s work is represented in private and corporate collections in Australia, United Kingdom, Europe, Asia and USA.
John’s passion for his work and his open easy approach to teaching make his books, DVD’s and workshops thoroughly enjoyable, extremely informative and always very popular. His articles are regularly featured in “International Artist” magazine.
The workshops will be held in Central Park on St Georges Terrace in the Acacia Room. There is a map below that can be downloaded.
He will be running a 3 day workshop, followed by a 2 day workshop. You can attend either workshop or all of them.
Member Price $170 per day
Non-Members $190 per day
5 Days – Monday 10th to Friday 14th
3 Days – Monday 10th to Wednesday 12th
2 Days – Thursday 13th and Friday 14th
The workshops run from 9am to 4pm.
The payment for the workshops is nonrefundable. But should you be unable to attend, you can transfer your place to someone else.
TRAVEL & PARKING: We would advise coming into the city by train, then catch the free Red Cat bus from stop no.10 on Wellington St across from the station (travelling west). Travel for two stop to No 12 Central Park.
If you wish to drive in and park we would advise allow plenty of time (rush hour) and use the Hay St, East Perth car park which has a daily rate of $13.
You can then take the free Red Cat bus from No. 5 stop (travelling west) and travel 7 stops to No.12 Central Park approx. 8 mins.
