Introducing “Friends of the Watercolour Society”

The Watercolour Society has introduced a new program called “Friends of the Society

We welcome people  who wish to join us, who may or may not be artists.  All are welcome to attend meetings and watch demonstrations.  Artists can find tutors, mentors and learn from being around other artists.    A mix of members and friends will bring new energy to our group.

Friends are welcome to participate in “show us your art”, which is our in-house art competition.  Also welcome to  borrow from our extensive collection of library books and DVDs.

Some Friends may not be artists but be collectors and wish to join on that basis.

When our members run workshops, the Friends would get priority to enrol.

When Friends are ready to submit for full membership, they will get support and allocated ahead of other admissions.

The aim being, to grow our society, promote our medium and lift our profile within the community.

Cost: $50 Annually.

Support and mentorship will be given towards full membership.

There will be no voting or exhibiting rights for friends.

This is a three-year trial, to be reviewed in 2027.
