Greetings members and welcome to our new Friends of the Watercolour Society.
The Annual Awards Exhibition is nearly here, and the pool of prize money and vouchers is growing and close to being finalised. More details about that at the meeting. Entries close on Friday 23rd for the AAE, please go to the members only section and enter if you have not done already. Reach out to a committee member if you need help with applying.
The paint out on Saturday to promote the exhibition is going ahead. The weather is not being the plein air painters’ friend but do still come. I spoke to the café owner and he is happy to have us paint inside due to the weather and he reports that Saturday mornings are very busy down there, which is good news for us as we promote our exhibition.
