PLEIN AIR DOWN UNDER OUTDOOR PAINTING FESTIVAL
Plein Air Down Under is an annual outdoor painting festival held around Mandurah and the historic town of Pinjarra, from 25 – 27 September. In addition, there are pre-festival masterclasses and activities – all designed to celebrate the art of painting outdoors.
Feature artists Herman Pekel, Lyn Diefenbach and Leon Holmes will be sharing their knowledge via Masterclasses, free demonstrations, exhibiting their work and being accessible during the festival weekend.
With over $8,000 in awards and prizes, the festival focusses on outdoor and evening paint outs, feature artists, Masterclass workshops, demonstrations, youth involvement and an exhibition of plein air paintings. Early bird discounted registrations are now open.
The Watercolour Society of Western Australia is proud to be part of this event, sponsoring the prize for the Watercolour Section.
