Under the Jetty
24cm x 34cm – Matted & Unframed
I love love love doing water. This was a difficult painting to do as water has so much movement and colour. This was an in studio painting and photo taken of the Freo harbour board-walk. I added the gulls in as they are so much a part of what happens around water and they bring a sense of fun to the painting.
Strolling On Rotto
Matted & White Frame
Rotto is an integral part of all West Australians. Wandering around Rotto on a hot day cannot be beaten and coming up to the lighthouse is always a sight to behold! The brightness of the lighthouse against the bright blue ocean and sky just draws you in.
53cm x 43cm – Matted & Framed
This was an inspiration painting done for the Watercolour Society exhibition in Fremantle 2020. I absolutely love our local birds and the kookaburras are a favourite of mine. They are often outside my office window so it was just an obvious painting for me to present.
30cm x 22cm – Matted Unframed
This painting of Little Creatures was taken from a photo I took myself. It is intended for an exhibition at Little Creatures in December I am participating in. My aim is to portray the people and buzz the brewery has.
Joe’s Fish Shack
30cm x 22cm – Matted & Unframed
This photo of Joes Fish Shack was taken by myself. It is intended for an exhibition at Little Creatures in December I am participating in. I love the local vibe of the harbor and wanted to portray the building in a bright sunny day.
Wildflowers & Lucadendron
27cm x 35cm – Matted & Unframed
Wildflowers are in abundance around us at the moment. I absolutely love painting flowers. This was an in studio painting done from my own lucadendron’s I have growing. The way they change colours once cut is interesting to watch mixed with the pinks of the Boronia makes an interesting painting to view.
