Congratulations to all that exhibited at the 46th Annual Awards Exhibition.
A fantastic exhibition, with new and exciting paintings making the judging harder than ever. Thank you to all those who did their rostered duties from frame checking, sales, hanging, food service, clicking in, floor walking, try me table and demonstrating. You all did a fabulous job and it showed. Thank you to all the friends who came along and got involved with a roster to help us out.
The try me table was a huge hit as well with over 50 people coming through on both Saturday and Sunday mornings. The public of all ages was well engaged and having a load of
fun having a dabble.
Demonstrators you were fantastic in chatting to all that came along to watch and learn. Such a great way to promote our medium.
Note, the paintings from the AAE have been put onto the website so you can continue to enjoy them and share them with others.
As we do not have an executive committee and there are a lot of “care takers” on committee we will not be having a general meeting this month. If you wish to join the committee particularly as a general committee member please email me. We meet usually the first Tuesday of the month at 10am at the Inglewood
Hotel board room, with lunch afterwards. The next committee meeting is 8th September.
Members and friends are welcome.
