Greetings everyone,
An exciting, super busy time continues as we head to the Annual Awards Exhibition. The Portrait Award is up first with the award continuing to be in line with all other awards as
far as prize value goes. Sponsorship is still coming in so that amount has not been determined yet.
Please RSVP by Friday 17th for the free lunch after the meeting and demonstration.
We do need more nominations for committee, so do not be shy, it is good fun. We do support and help all new people on committee while they are finding their way. The more people sharing the load on committee means that we can take on and deliver more activities for members.
As we are incorporated, we require a secretary to continue having meetings and to function according to our constitution. If we do not get a volunteer to be secretary, we will need to look at paying for this service. If we are forced to pay for this service, we will need to look at our only guaranteed income, that is your fees and yes, they may need to go up if we need to pay a secretary. So please do consider volunteering for this important role.
Please arrive for your rostered duty allowing time to find parking at Perth City Farm. Please remember it is free to park over the weekend at the TAFE next door. Don’t forget your lanyard and enjoy our exhibition.
