Mixing two colours and layering the wash to create a range of tones

This masterclass shows how to create a range of tones by mixing two colours and how to apply these tones in layers to create further tonal values. See how to mix blue and red to make a range of purple tones and then layering the wash to create more tonal values. This is especially useful for monotone painting to discover how you can create light to dark layers with just one colour.
