Jan Pittman
Jan is an active member of the Watercolour Society of WA, AGRA, and BASA, and MHOS (Mundaring Hills Open Studios), as well as the Wildflower Society of WA. A long-time Gidgegannuppian, she paints the natural world in watercolours and enjoys “urban sketching”. Former Premier, Colin Barnett, twice used her paintings of local wildflowers on his Christmas cards, and her paintings have been finalists in the Mortimore Prize for Realistic Painting, and the inaugural Splash Award for Contemporary Watercolour, and have won prizes in local art exhibitions. Jan travelled to China, Italy and India with the WSWA, for exhibitions. The recent fires in Gidgegannup have presented a further challenge!
Jan can organise workshops and classes to suit groups, and is happy to travel in the metro area (and beyond!).
