“Art to me as an artist is how you represent what you see to make it what you want it to be with better light and colours. Painting all subjects makes my artistic journey interesting.”
56cm x 76cm
This was a commission done from the clients photo and painted in my studio. Loved the reaction of the clients when finished and presented to them.
Early Morning Ennis
36cm x 53cm – Framed
This painting was inspired by an early morning walk in very cold weather and I found this river just out of town and I loved the atmospheric light and the birds.
53cm x 36cm – Framed
This was painted En Plein Air (outdoors, in situe) in Pinjarra during a Mandurah competition over a weekend. I loved the reflected light on the tree.
Wings on Water
54cm x 74cm – Framed with a double mount.
This was painted from a photo taken by a friend or so I thought! The background was airbrushed with watercolour inks and watercolour. These white birds take on the earthy colours of the north.
Robin Red Breast
36cm x 53cm
This was painted from a photo of a friend and the background was airbrushed as well as the bright red breast. He looked so healthy. It sold at a watercolour society exhibition.
Two similar paintings and one at 36cm x 27cm @ $300 and the other at 13cm x 10cm @ $120. This was painted to prove that paintings can often be better than the original scene.
