ABOUT THE ARTIST

Julie has always loved art from a very young age. She studied Fine Art at Fremantle TAFE covering oil painting, pastels, pen and ink drawing, art history and fine jewellery making.

Whilst studying Fine Art, Julie sold many of her paintings and hand-made silver jewellery before ceasing her art interests due to returning to full time work in Administrative roles and Personal Assistants.

Over 40 years later, now retired and after a life changing event, Julie decided to take up art again with a passion, this time concentrating on Watercolours, Pen & Wash, loving the results of the paint and paper working together to create beautiful images and colours.

Julie is very passionate about art and loves mixing with like-minded people and artists, eager to learn and share her passion. She most enjoys painting native birds, family pets, wild animals, landscapes and architecture.
Julie is a member of the Watercolour Society of Western Australia and has exhibited in many exhibitions.
