Have you ever wondered what’s upstairs in Perth’s iconic London Court?
Well, there’s some old and quirky spaces that Activate Perth has made available for the Watercolour Society of WA during Perth’s International Watercolour Exhibition in Central Park.
This workshop is for you if:
– You have painted in other mediums before, but haven’t tried watercolour
– You have dabbled a bit in watercolour but want some extra instruction
– You have some watercolour experience but would like a relaxing day painting pretty flowers and
practicing your skills in a supportive, fun environment where someone else organises all the stuff.
We’ll be working step-by-step through creating a beautiful, realistic watercolour painting of tulips, all ready for you to take home and frame. As we go we’ll practice and refine foundational watercolour techniques so you can go on to flaunt your fantastic floral finesse in your next watercolour masterpiece.
No stress, we’ll bring some spring to this winter Monday with a relaxed vibe, a painting tribe and a chance to ask me your questions about this challenging medium.
Secure you spot now, as places are limited to ensure a more personal experience.
What to bring: Lunch (or cash) and a water bottle, your own watercolour brushes IF you have them in (approximately) size 6, 2 and 0. I will have assorted brushes to borrow if you need them. Everything else provided!
